Film Screening: Metropolitan Opera 2008 Opening Night Gala

London

Renée Fleming personally introduces a screening of the legendary 2008 Metropolitan Opera Gala Opening Night, as 2016 marks 25 years since her Met debut. The tour-de-force performance featured Fleming in three favorite roles: Violetta in Act II of Verdi’s “Traviata”; Manon in Act III of Massenet’s “Manon”; and the Countess in the final scene of Strauss’s “Capriccio.”
